Ice Skates Donated to Wilkes-Barre City for Use at Skating Rink

Mayor George C. Brown accepted a donation of ice skates from the Luzerne County Sports Hall of Fame this week. The skates were presented by Karel Zubris, an inductee and the historian for the Luzerne County Sports Hall of Fame. Zubris has assisted with past events at the rink and will continue to volunteer her time and expertise to upcoming skating events.
