SUSPECTS INVOLVED:Jennifer DYKINS, 23, W-B
INCIDENT DETAILS:Officers responded to the report of a 911 hang up call at a residence on Hazle St. Upon arrival, Officers were informed that DYKINS was at the residence and became intoxicated while she was with her 8 month old son. She then left the residence with her son in her intoxicated state. Officers then checked the area in order to locate her. She was then located on Stanton St. stumbling as she was removing the infant from a stroller. Officers approached her and observed her to be intoxicated and having difficulty maintaining her balance. Officers noted that the temperature at the time was only 47 degrees and the child was inadequately dressed for the cold. The child was only wearing a “onesie” shirt, no pants or socks. The child was also covered with a thin bed sheet. She was placed into custody and Officers contacted Luzerne County Children and Youth Services. The child was released to a sober family member. DYKINS was taken to WBPD HQ and held for arraignment. 602
