The City of Wilkes-Barre would like to invite everyone to attended and participate in the 36th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Each year seems to be better than the last and this year will be no exception.

2017 Cherry Blossom Festival
Saturday, April 22 & Sunday April 23.

On April 22 and 23, Wilkes-Barre’s beautiful Kirby Park will welcome thousands to the Cherry Blossom Festival. This year, we are proud to present two days of free, family-friendly entertainment, as well as delicious food, fun rides and handmade arts and crafts.

2017 Christmas Parade
On Saturday, November 18, 2017, the streets of downtown Wilkes-Barre will bustle with the spirit of the holidays with the return of Wilkes-Barre City’s Christmas Parade!
From October 1st through November 1st The City of Wilkes-Barre will be looking for a donated christmas tree to be placed on Public Square for the holiday season. If you are interested in donating this years tree please call (570) 208-4149.
The 2017 Farmer’s Market opening day is June 29th.
The new season of the Wilkes-Barre Farmers’ Market will soon begin. Each week during the summer, we have something special planned for the whole family. Full of family fun, music, food, crafts and, of course, the highest quality fresh produce from local growers, the Wilkes-Barre Farmers’ Market is the place to be this summer!
Every Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through November 16th.
